Spay/Neuter Clinic at Muskrat Dam and Bearskin Lake Native Reserve - Jan 2020

After a 12 hour drive to Nakina, Ontario and a 2.5 hour chartered flight, the team arrived at their destination. 

Muskrat Dam is a fly in reserve, and Bearskin Lake was 2 hours of a drive from there on ice roads. ​

Achievements 

We spayed and neutered a total of 84 animals, mostly dogs and a few cats.

The team spent long days working to make sure we could sterilize as many animals as possible. On our second last day, a record breaking 19 dogs were sterilized in 12 hours by Dr. Pauline Van Veen.
