My Birthday Wish...
I am so grateful for another year around the sun. So, I am celebrating by doing a birthday fundraiser for a cause very close to my heart ---> Animal Care Zone.
I started ACZ 5 years ago in 2018. Since then, we have helped so many stray animals along the way. It is a completely volunteer run organization that helps animals in India and Canada. Me and the team do this work in our spare time, after our actual jobs. ACZ provides medical treatments, vaccinations, spay/neuter services and food for stray animals.
My dogs, Olive and Basil are also ex-street dogs from India and have given me so much joy and companionship in the last few years. Although I can't give a home to all the street dogs out there, I want to spend my birthday making their life a little bit better. ACZ will use this money for treatment of animals in rural areas of India where there is not much access to vet care and facilities.
There is nothing more I want than to help reduce animal suffering by even a little. This 'gift' is priceless to me!
