We are looking for fosters in Ontario, Canada, preferably in the Greater-Toronto-Area (GTA). However, we are open to AWESOME foster homes at a driving distance of 3 hours (maximum) from Toronto as well.
Foster parents are a great help to any organization. Fosters help take in a rescued dog until a forever home can be found. It's a short-term commitment lasting up to a few months. It is a rewarding process and you’ll give a dog a fresh start at life.
Foster parents help dogs who are in a transition period from living on the streets or in a shelter, to living in a home. Your home might be the first home for a foster dog. A foster dog might start off shy or anxious at your home, but over time, the dog will settle down and feel more relaxed.
Foster parents play a big role in getting dogs ready for adoption by providing them training and lots of love. We are so grateful that you are interested in fostering for us! If you have questions reach out to us at animalcarezone@gmail.com
