4 months ago, we found Prancer in the desert in California, abandoned and looking for scraps. Shortly after, we realized he has hydrocephalus (fluid in the brain). Due to the accumulation of fluid in his brain, he has a larger than normal head and his eyes are pushed back due to the pressure. While in our care, Prancer had a seizure (which is a symptom of hydrocephalus) and is now on daily medicine.
Although dogs diagnosed with hydrocephalus live a shorter than normal life, we have been committed to finding Prancer the best home, because we believe life is measured by special moments - no matter how long it is. We have been looking for an adoptive home for Prancer for several months and we finally found HIS FUREVER HOME! A wonderful couple who live in Seattle and who are ready to take on Prancer and his needs.
We need help getting Prancer to Seattle in mid October. Please contribute if you are able to.
1 way car rental from Los Angeles to Seattle (Prancer is advised not to fly, so we will be driving him to Seattle): $500 Estimated 1 way gas cost: $250 1 way flight back home to LA: $250 Prancer's medical bills and medicine (omeprazole, prednisone and anti-seizure) while in our care: $500
