Lucky Dumpling was found during the Kenneth Fires that happened in West Hills, CA. Many animals have been surrendered, abandoned or displaced during the fires in LA. Lucky Dumpling is one of them. He was disheveled and confused when we found him. He had no collar and no microchip on him. Shortly after through various vet exams we found out that he has a grade 5 heart murmur which is serious and needs more vet care. Click here to learn more about heart murmurs. We did an x-ray but the results were indefinite and so now we need to do an Echocardiogram for sweet Dumpling as soon as possible which is an ultrasound of the heart that measures a dog's heart size, shape, and function. It can also detect irregularities in the heart's chambers, valves, and blood flow.
After we do this, the vet will be able to suggest a treatment plan to keep his heart going for as long as possible.
We want to raise $800 for Lucky Dumpling. $300 is for his senior blood test and wellness panel and $500 for the Echocardiogram.
