Abby Turns 30 (against all odds :P)
During the January fires, Abby offered to help local rescues. That’s when Animal Care Zone’s founder Meg reached out about Daisy, a sweet Shepherd mix who had just been pulled from a euthanasia list — only for her foster’s home to be threatened by fire the very next day. Abby stepped in as Daisy’s emergency placement, and over the next four months she witnessed firsthand the dedication and heart that ACZ pours into every rescue across Los Angeles, Canada, and India. They are also completely volunteer run!
Now, as she turns 30, Abby is using her birthday to give back to the organization that inspires her daily.
When Abby isn’t fostering, she works as a AAA video game producer at Riot Games. She also mentors women and underrepresented minorities in the gaming industry and frequently speaks internationally about creating more inclusive spaces.
